Applying does not guarantee a camp or delegation place. International eligibility will be checked against ICO 2027 rules, including age, school status and representation requirements. Special cases will be reviewed.

Complete the student form with your school details and any practice profiles you have. Registration is already accessible; the public campaign starts on 28 September. Applications close on 19 October at 23:59, Morocco time.

0226 OCT 2026First online CTFA shared starting point

A CTF is a set of challenges in an environment designed for learning. This first individual assessment helps identify strengths and learning needs. Candidates will receive the format, times, permitted tools and instructions before the event.

03NOV → 1 DEC 2026Learn, then reviewOnline training and assessment

Guided sessions and individual practice strengthen the fundamentals. An assessment is planned for 1 December to inform selection for the sprint group. Criteria and feedback arrangements will be shared in advance.

An intensive week of guided work, problem solving and technical feedback. An assessment at the end prepares the next stage. Hosting and practical arrangements remain to be confirmed with participants.

After camp, alternate regular practice, review sessions and progress discussions with mentors. Address weaker areas while keeping up with schoolwork.

Strengthen skills across several domains, practise under time constraints and measure progress. Results guide the final preparation phase.

Supervised assessments, technical explanations and a review of results to select four pupils proposed for the delegation. Confirmation also depends on international eligibility.

06 / FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Can I apply as a beginner?

Yes. Motivation and a willingness to learn matter. HTB, Root-Me and other practice profiles can be left blank. The selection pathway is primarily aimed at secondary-school pupils.

I am at university. How can I join?

You can offer help as a mentor, technical contributor or volunteer. ICO contestant eligibility follows specific rules; university status does not automatically qualify you for the delegation.

Do I need to live in Marrakech?

No. The call welcomes pupils from across Morocco. Part of the programme takes place online. Camp arrangements and travel requirements will be shared with the relevant participants.

Will travel be covered?

Practical arrangements and any support available will be communicated before each camp. Please wait for confirmation from the team before booking travel.

What equipment do I need?

A computer and internet connection are useful for online practical work. If access is difficult, contact the team to discuss your situation. No equipment purchase or paid subscription is required to apply.

What happens after submitting a form?

An on-screen confirmation and reference are displayed. No automatic email is currently sent. Keep your reference; the team will use your contact details for follow-up. Contact the organizers if you need to correct your submission.

How is my information used?

Responses are used to review your application or offer of help and organize the programme. They are not published. Each form explains hosting, retention and your rights.
